As Executive Director and Master's Level Clinician at Hope Counseling Center, Karlene provides visionary leadership and strategic direction for the organization while also serving clients directly in a therapeutic capacity. She holds a Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Capella University and a Bachelor's in Psychology with a Christian Counseling concentration from Liberty University. Karlene's leadership philosophy centers on creating an environment of love and acceptance where healing, freedom, and transformation can flourish. She specializes in working with couples, adults, teens, and young adults, integrating evidence-based practices with faith-based principles to bridge the gap between mental health and spirituality.

Her holistic approach integrates mind, body, and spirit in the healing process.

Jeffrey is a pastor with over two decades of ministry experience. He serves as Male Spiritual and Growth Leadership Coordinator at The Worship Center Christian Church, bringing deep spiritual insight and pastoral care to his counseling work.

Graduate Student Intern
Kedra Miller is a graduate student pursuing a Master of Education in Counseling at the University of Montevallo. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from The University of Alabama at Birmingham. Kedra's passion for counseling was inspired by personal experiences that deepened her desire to help others heal, grow, and thrive. She values getting to the root of clients' concerns and supports individuals in becoming whole through a compassionate, client-centered approach. Kedra has a special interest in working with children and adolescents, particularly through play therapy, while remaining open to serving diverse populations across the lifespan.
